Talking about things that weigh us down and learning strategies to manage them can release heaviness, and free your mind up to think about options and solutions. Over one, two or more sessions, we will explore ways to feel better about what you’re facing at the moment.
personal change program: let’s start walking
Maybe you know you need to make a change, head in a new direction. This five-session program will help you to work through:
- where you are now, and why you’re not where you want to be
- how that is making you think, feel and behave
- what you want to change
- practical and achievable actions to make and sustain the change.
when, where & how much
We’ll arrange to meet up in or around Warrandyte. Each session will be 50 minutes. Ideally, we’ll walk or sit outside – fresh air, gentle exercise, and tranquillity (as long as the cockatoos aren’t screeching) is good for the body and soul. Otherwise we will find somewhere quiet for a coffee and a chat.
walk of life therapy is designed as a 1:1 program, as it focusses on personal values and motivations
Session cost: $125
Payment on the day of service, by cash or bank transfer
Services provided by counsellors are not currently eligible for the Medicare Better Access Initiative (free sessions under a GP mental health plan). However, please contact me if cost is a barrier to you seeking support.
